This policy explains what we do with the information you give us through this website. Elite Mechanics is the data controller for that information.
What we collect
When you fill in an enquiry form we collect your name, phone number, email address if you give one, your postcode, vehicle details and whatever you tell us about the problem. We collect this so we can quote for the work and contact you about it.
We do not collect payment details through this website.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a price
- To book your vehicle in and keep you updated on the work
- To keep a record of work carried out on your vehicle
We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your agreement.
Who processes it
Enquiry forms on this site are handled by Formspree, which passes the message to our email inbox. Their handling of that data is covered by their own privacy policy. Our email is provided by our email host.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted once they are no longer needed. Records of work carried out are kept for as long as we need them for warranty, accounting and legal reasons.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. If analytics are added in future, this page will be updated to say so.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@elitemechanicskent.co.uk and we will deal with it.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
