Car & Van Repairs In Medway & Kent
Brakes, clutches, gearboxes, suspension, cambelts, cooling and electrics. Diagnosed properly, priced up front and repaired in our own workshop.
Mechanical Repairs, Done In House.
Brakes, suspension, clutches, gearboxes, cambelts, cooling systems and electrics. All of it happens on our own ramps, by the same people who quoted the job.
That matters because repairs go wrong in the gaps. Work sent out to someone else, jobs handed between mechanics halfway through, corners cut to hit a price. Keeping it in one workshop keeps the standard and the price honest.
We diagnose properly before quoting, so you are not paying for parts that were never faulty, and we call you before doing anything that was not on the original quote.

Pick the symptom that sounds closest and we will tell you the usual causes. It is a starting point, not a diagnosis, but it will tell you whether you are looking at something small or something serious.
Knocking or clunking over bumps
- 1Worn drop links or bushesThe cheapest and most common cause, and an easy fix once we have found which one it is.
- 2Top mounts or shock absorbersUsually knocks over speed bumps and feels floaty or crashy over rough roads.
- 3Wheel bearingOften a hum that changes when you turn, and a definite MOT failure once there is play in it.
Overheating or losing coolant
- 1Water pump or thermostatCommon on higher mileage cars and often done alongside the cambelt.
- 2Leaking hose, radiator or housingA pressure test finds these in minutes, even when nothing shows on the drive.
- 3Head gasketMayonnaise under the cap, pressure in the top hose, or coolant disappearing with no visible leak.
It will not start or turns over slowly
- 1BatterySlow cranking, dash lights dimming, worse when cold. Cheap to test properly.
- 2AlternatorIf it is not charging, a new battery only buys you a few days.
- 3Starter or glow plugsA single click, or a diesel that fires on the third attempt when cold.
Vibration through the steering or seat
- 1Wheel balance or buckled rimComes in at a certain speed and disappears again above it.
- 2Warped front discsFelt through the pedal and the wheel under braking rather than all the time.
- 3Driveshaft, CV joint or engine mountVibration under acceleration or a clicking noise on full lock.

Common Questions.
Yes. We work on all makes and models of car, van and 4x4, from everyday runarounds to Land Rovers and performance cars. If it is something genuinely specialist we will say so rather than learn on your vehicle.
We show you. Worn parts get put in front of you, or photographed if you are not there, and you keep the old parts if you want them. Nothing gets replaced on a hunch.
Yes. Parts carry their manufacturer warranty and our labour is guaranteed. If something is not right after a repair, bring it back and we will look at it.
Usually yes, but the parts warranty is then down to you and your supplier. We will always tell you honestly if the part you have bought is not right for the job.
Most repairs are same day or next day. Bigger jobs like clutches, cambelts and engine work usually take longer and depend on parts availability. You get a realistic timescale with your quote, not a hopeful one.
Book It In.
