Car & Van Servicing In Medway & Kent
Interim, full and major servicing for cars, vans and 4x4s. Correct spec oil, quality filters, service book stamped and a straight answer on anything we find.
Servicing That Actually Looks At The Car.
A service should be more than oil, a filter and a stamp in the book. Ours starts with the schedule your vehicle needs and finishes with a proper inspection of the things that wear out between visits, so nothing turns into an expensive surprise later.
We use quality oil to the correct specification for your engine and fit OE or equivalent filters. Every car goes up on the ramp so we can look at brakes, suspension, exhaust and the underside properly rather than glancing at it from above.
You get told what we found, what we did, and what is worth keeping an eye on. Nothing extra gets carried out without a phone call first.

Signs A Service Is Overdue.
If any of these sound familiar, it is worth getting booked in before it turns into a repair.
Dark, thin oil
Oil that looks like black water on the dipstick has stopped protecting the engine. On modern turbo engines that is how oil ways and turbos get destroyed.
Fuel economy dropping
A blocked air filter, tired plugs or dirty oil all cost you miles per gallon. A service usually pays for a decent chunk of itself back at the pump.
Rough idle or hesitation
Lumpy running at a standstill or a flat spot when you accelerate often traces back to plugs, filters and servicing items rather than anything major.
Hard starting
Slow cranking on a cold morning can be the battery, but on diesels it is often glow plugs and fuel filters that should have been changed at the last service.
Weak heating or aircon
Cabin filters block up with leaves and dust. A five pound part makes a surprising difference to demisting and airflow.
You cannot remember the last one

Most cars need a full service every 12 months or 12,000 miles, with an interim service in between if you cover high mileage. Vans working every day usually benefit from more frequent oil changes. Tell us your mileage and we will tell you honestly what it needs.
They are two separate things. A service is about keeping the car healthy, an MOT is a legal safety test. We can do the servicing and sort any MOT work that comes out of the test, and a pre MOT check beforehand if you want to avoid a fail.
No. As long as the service is carried out to the manufacturer's schedule with the correct parts and oil, and it is recorded properly, your warranty stays intact. Block exemption rules mean you do not have to use a main dealer.
Yes. Your book gets stamped and you get a written record of what was done, what was replaced and anything we noticed that will need attention next time.
We know a van off the road costs you money, so we try to book van work in for the quickest possible turnaround and will tell you straight if something is going to take longer than a day.
